We provide evidence-based, high-quality educational and training materials for health care providers who care for breastfeeding mothers and babies. Photos enhance learning, and for 30 years, we have worked to incorporate visual images and clear, easy-to-understand writing in all the materials we develop. All of our photographic subjects have signed consent forms agreeing for their images to be used to advance breastfeeding education. Seeking such signed consent is in accordance with the ethical requirements of the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE), our certifying body.
Our materials are not meant to substitute for medical care, and we urge readers to speak directly to their health care providers about personal health concerns. We sell only materials we have created, and we are not connected with any other commercial venture or institution.
